The Lambda TKEs participate in multiple philanthropies during their undergraduate career at UW-Madison. The official national philanthropy of Tau Kappa Epsilon is the Alzheimer’s Foundation for which Lambda chapter hosts a charity poker tournament annually. The TKEs also continue to volunteer their time by making dinner at the Ronald McDonald House of Madison.

The TKEs and other members of the UW Greek Community participate in other fraternity and sorority philanthropic activities throughout the school year. These philanthropies, usually quite festive and amusing, provide for some of the best memories for they bring chapters of fraternities and sororities around campus together as a community.

Humorology is one of Lambda TKE’s most time-honored philanthropies. It involves TKE getting paired up with a sorority and creating a HILAROIUS broadway-esque musical! All of the participants raise funds throughout the school year on top of rehearsing for many hours to produce a cleverly choreographed and hilarious Humorology show. In addition to the individual fraternity and sorority philanthropies, the TKEs participate in campus-wide philanthropic activities during Homecoming week in the fall, and Greek Week in the spring. When Halloween comes around, the TKEs participate in Trick-or-Treat with the Greeks which utilizes the fraternity house to provide for fun Halloween activities for Madison children.
