Info about 216 Langdon
Located on the famous Langdon Street, UW's "Greek Row", the house at 216 was intially built for Alpha Epsilon Phi (a UW Sorority). This past summer of 2007, the house underwent nearly a half million dollars worth of renovations including completely reowrked bathrooms, new flooring and freshly painted walls in common areas and all individual rooms, a sprinkler system, as will be required by Madison fire code by 2012, thermostat controls in common areas and rooms, and many more touchups throughout the house. A composite bench was generously donated by Building Systems upon completion of the project.
Many members of TKE will tell you that their favorite feature of the house is the roof. Access to the roof has made for many great memories and can always provide an excellent view of Lake Mendota, where many a sunset can be enjoyed.
